Choir starts again on Monday September 2nd 2024 at 7.45 p.m. Here are some important dates for the new season.
October 19th 2024 - Choir Workshop at St. George's Church Elstan Way.
Pre-concert Rehearsal - Wednesday November 27th 2024 at Shirley Methodist Church.
Winter/Christmas Concert - Saturday 30th November at Shirley Methodist Church. 7.30 p.m

Return to choir on Monday 6th January 2025.
Spring Concert will be on Saturday 10th May 2025
Shirley Singers (formerly known as Springpark Choral Society) is a lively, friendly and welcoming choir. We sing music from the shows, light classical music and both traditional and modern carols at Christmas and there are no auditions.
We meet every Monday evening in Shirley Parish Hall, Wickham Road, Shirley Croydon, Surrey CR0 8TB. Our evening begins at 7.45p.m. and finishes at 9.45. You will need to bring your own mug with you if you would like a coffee or a tea during the break.
All the music will be lent to you by the choir. Further information on joining the choir is available from Christine (Choir Manager) Tel: 02084064226
We usually give two concerts a yea and our next concert will take place on Saturday May 18th 2024 at Shirley Methodist Church, Eldon Road, Shirley Croydon, at 7.30 p.m. Doors open at 7.00. Tickets will be available on the door at £12.50 and light refreshments will also be available during the interval.
Around the time of each concert we sometimes visit local care homes and entertain the residents with a shorter version of our concert and we may also take part in other local events.
New members are always welcome. At the moment we have a lovely Soprano section but we are very much in need of more Altos, Tenaltos Tenors and Basses. Use our contact number (see above) or come and meet us on Monday evenings when we are rehearsing from 7.45 until 9.45.p.m
